Senior Deployment Strategist

Location: Seoul, South Korea; hybrid work from the Seoul office 3 days per week

hirify.global designs, manufactures, and operates a large constellation of imaging satellites and delivers satellite data through a cloud-based platform for commercial, environmental, humanitarian, defense, and intelligence users.

What you will do

• Understand defense and intelligence customers’ needs and deliver tailored hirify.global Platform solutions.
• Design workflows, data models, integrations, and tooling aligned with customer missions.
• Train users, iterate on workflows in real time, and help customers adopt hirify.global products in daily operations.
• Translate operational requirements into actionable feedback for product and engineering teams.
• Prototype, test, and adjust workflows while solving ambiguous, high-stakes technical problems.
• Collaborate with analysts, decision makers, and customer teams to understand workflows, pain points, and mission priorities.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience supporting defense and intelligence customers, including systems integration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Fluency in Golang, Python, PostgreSQL, and React or related technologies.
• Experience with cloud deployments using GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Experience scaling and maintaining production systems, with strong problem-solving and systems-thinking skills.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder-management abilities, including translating between technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience with defense and intelligence organizations in the Asia-Pacific region.
• Experience with multi-domain and multi-level security architectures.
• Knowledge of JavaScript mapping libraries, Google Earth Engine, RDBMS, SQL, NoSQL, and distributed databases.
• Experience with geospatial technologies, GEOINT, imagery exploitation, data science, or analytical products built from complex datasets.
• Fluency in multiple languages.
