What you will do

• Design and manage secure cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, Oracle, and GCP using IaC tools like Terraform and ARM templates.
• Implement security monitoring and threat detection using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, and Azure CLI executed via Logic Apps and Azure Functions.
• Configure network security controls, including NSGs and application gateways, to protect cloud resources.
• Apply security compliance standards across the organization for compute, storage, networking, and database services.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the delivery of fully functioning systems that meet all requirements.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering and/or development.
• Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, ARM, Ansible, BICEP) and DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, Docker).
• Experience automating workflows using PowerShell, Bash, Python, YAML, or JSON.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification (e.g., Security+, CCNA Security) or the ability to obtain it within 6 months of hire.
• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ additional years of professional IT experience.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Understanding of NIST SP 800-53, FIPS-199, and DoD Cloud Security Requirements Guide.
• Microsoft certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Security Engineer Associate, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
