Solution Architect (Cloud)

Location: Belfast, United Kingdom; hybrid working with at least two days per week in the office or on a client site, with assignments potentially requiring up to five days per week on a client site.

What you will do

• Design and deliver scalable, high-performance software applications and services for clients.
• Lead engineering teams delivering applications and services.
• Apply architecture and delivery methodologies across business, data, application, technology, and security domains.
• Work with clients and multiple stakeholders to solve technical problems using agile practices.
• Contribute to internal projects, cross-functional collaboration, whiteboarding sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities.

Requirements

• Hands-on software engineering experience with a background in leading engineering teams.
• Practical understanding of architecture and delivery methodologies.
• Specialist expertise in at least one architectural domain: business, data, application, technology, or security.
• Experience with leading cloud and technology vendors, including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Oracle, IBM, or Salesforce.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Applicants must be British citizens or have been continuously resident in the UK for the past five years where security clearance is required.

Nice to have

• Certifications in relevant architecture methodologies or cloud technologies.
