TL;DR
Quality Engineer - SCQM Level 2 (Supply Chain Quality Manager) (Aerospace): Managing supplier quality, contract performance, and supply chain delivery for aerospace equipment and systems with an accent on supplier capability assessment, root cause analysis, and AS9100 quality practices. Focus on improving supplier performance, coordinating customer demands through continuous improvement, and ensuring on-time, on-quality, and on-cost delivery.

Location: On-site in Grand Prairie, Texas, United States. Current US work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Relocation assistance is available for qualified positions.

What you will do

  • Act as the focal point for suppliers on operational activities and contract management.
  • Represent supplier interests to internal functions and coordinate cross-functional relationships.
  • Manage supply chain and quality aspects of contracts, ensuring on-time, on-quality, and applicable on-cost performance.
  • Assess supplier capacity, capability, and performance, and contribute to supplier development.
  • Translate internal and external customer requirements from agreements, meetings, calls, and emails into continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Aviation, or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • At least five years of technical experience in Quality, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
  • Experience with root cause analysis, practical problem solving, 8D, or similar tools.
  • AS9100 Auditor training or equivalent.
  • Team-oriented approach and strong relationship-building skills.
  • Current authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
