Senior Supply Chain Quality Manager (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Manage inspection of raw materials, work-in-process materials, and finished products.
• Lead manufacturing quality control programs and develop quality standards, protocols, policies, and procedures.
• Own the quality department business plan, budget, strategy, staffing, procedures, and KPI performance.
• Improve quality processes through Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, PDCA, data analysis, and other advanced quality tools.
• Address customer quality issues, corrective actions, product reliability, and cost reduction.
• Lead, train, mentor, and evaluate quality personnel while coordinating with production and other managers.

Requirements

• Advanced degree with 3 years of experience or bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience.
• Working knowledge of aerospace quality standards, including AS9100, AS9110, and AS9102.
• Experience leading teams, managing projects, and coaching or guiding team members.
• Experience with inspection equipment such as go/no-go gauges, pin gauges, and calipers; ability to read complex blueprints.
• Thorough understanding of CMM operation and programming, gauge metrology, auditing tools, statistical applications, and problem-solving techniques.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance.

Nice to have

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt experience.
• NADCAP experience.
