Senior Business Technology Manager (Kubernetes)

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day operations and the strategic roadmap for enterprise Kubernetes-based container platforms across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Maintain resilient, secure, and scalable containerized infrastructure while improving workload performance, usability, and reliability.
• Plan and execute Kubernetes upgrades and other Day-2 operations with zero-downtime objectives.
• Enforce container security practices, including image scanning, runtime security, policy enforcement, and vulnerability management.
• Partner with DevOps, security, and networking teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines, container runtimes, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Lead escalation management for production cluster outages and establish root cause analysis workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years of technology experience, including extensive Kubernetes and container platform operations experience.
• Expert knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, CI/CD tools, public cloud providers, and platform engineering.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and on-premises platforms such as OpenShift or bare-metal Kubernetes.
• Ability to build technical strategy, lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, and explain complex technology to non-technical audiences.

• Experience with hybrid-cloud and multi-cloud environments and integration with enterprise systems.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Rally, or ADO.
• Kubernetes certifications such as CKA, CKAD, or CKS.
• AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications.
