Business Technology Manager Sr. (Kubernetes)

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day operations and the strategic roadmap for enterprise Kubernetes-based container orchestration platforms.
• Maintain resilient, secure, scalable container infrastructure across on-premises and public cloud environments.
• Execute zero-downtime Kubernetes upgrades, maintenance, workload optimization, and Day-2 operations.
• Improve container security through image scanning, runtime protection, policy enforcement, vulnerability management, and compliance controls.
• Partner with DevOps, security, and networking teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines, container runtimes, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Lead production incident escalation and establish root cause analysis workflows while managing platform costs and SLOs/SLAs.

Requirements

• Must work in the Dallas, Texas office.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years of technology experience and extensive experience leading container platform operations teams.
• Expert-level knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, CI/CD tools, public cloud providers, and platform engineering.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and on-premises platforms such as OpenShift or bare-metal Kubernetes.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams, building technical strategy, managing stakeholders, and communicating complex technical topics to non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Kubernetes certifications such as CKA, CKAD, or CKS.
• Cloud certifications for AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with hybrid-cloud platforms, Agile methodologies, Jira, Rally, or ADO.
