Location: Continental United States during the first year; relocation to the Charlotte, NC area expected thereafter. The role requires travel, a reasonable commute to a major commercial airport, and office-based and field/site work across multiple states.
Salary: $180,000–$200,000 annually, plus bonus for eligible positions.

What you will do
- Lead preconstruction activities from project origination through Final Investment Decision.
- Develop preliminary project scopes, schedules, budgets, cash flow forecasts, and execution strategies.
- Coordinate FEL studies, engineering, permitting, interconnection, survey, geotechnical, and environmental activities.
- Manage engineering and equipment RFPs, vendor selection, and early engagement with utilities, pipeline operators, regulators, and local authorities.
- Identify project risks, scope gaps, and development constraints while aligning Business Development, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Operations.
- Prepare financing and investment approval packages and ensure a successful handoff to the execution team.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of industrial-scale project management experience, including experience in the United States.
- Experience with gas processing projects such as RNG, gas transmission and compression, gas treating, air separation, LNG, CNG, hydrogen, or related process industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
- Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore, Primavera, or MS Project, plus strong project controls and contract management skills.
- Experience managing projects with CAPEX exceeding $50 million and concurrent projects across multiple states.
- Approximately 30% overnight travel, with daily on-site presence potentially required during plant commissioning; availability for after-hours and weekend calls is required.

- Advanced degree in engineering or business, such as an MS or MBA.
- PMP certification.
- Existing US-wide network of vendors, consultants, and contractors.
