Medical Billing Specialist

What you will do

• Reconcile billing and medical record accounts with customers.
• Manage medical records correspondence between providers and the GRS department.
• Communicate daily with medical providers to verify exam completion and obtain service dates.
• Ensure account completeness, including accurate bill amounts and patient demographics, prior to payment remittance.
• Maintain provider profiles in the CIMI system with rates and contact instructions.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to resolve payment discrepancies.

Requirements

• Must live in the Las Vegas area and be able to commute to the office Mon-Fri.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the medical records field preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to type at least 45 wpm.

Nice to have

• Experience in Medical Billing or Coding.
