What you will do

• Lead end-to-end contract management from pre-award strategy and sourcing through execution and post-award administration.
• Develop scopes of work, contracting strategies, compensation structures, and sourcing events.
• Draft and negotiate commercial terms, manage contractual risks and claims, and resolve contracting issues with legal, suppliers, and business stakeholders.
• Manage supplier communications, due diligence, contract performance, and documented savings.
• Partner with category managers and cross-functional stakeholders to optimize commercial outcomes.
• Mentor less experienced contracting professionals and improve processes through technology.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, finance, economics, or a related field, or 10+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least 6 years of experience in sourcing, contracting, commercial negotiations, RFX management, and post-award contract management.
• Experience leading supplier negotiations and conducting commercial and technical analyses.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in Smart by GEP or Ariba, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work with ambiguity, build consensus, and make effective business decisions.

Nice to have

• Experience in oil and gas, manufacturing, or similar industries.
• Contracting expertise across engineering, professional, logistics, marketing, maintenance, or operational services.
• Experience collaborating across diverse, cross-functional teams and learning new systems and tools.
