What you will do
- Develop and execute global sourcing strategies covering supplier selection, qualification, rationalization, benchmarking, total cost of ownership, and risk mitigation.
- Manage supplier relationships, contracts, pricing agreements, performance assessments, and assigned procurement categories.
- Deliver cost reductions through market analysis, cost modeling, competitive sourcing, make-versus-buy analysis, negotiations, and global spend leverage.
- Build supplier and market intelligence, evaluate supplier capabilities, and optimize supply chain performance and assurance of supply.
- Partner with engineering teams on component requirements, manufacturing options, product roadmaps, new product development, and launch readiness.
- Drive lean transformation, process improvements, sustainable cost controls, and sourcing best-practice adoption.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in global strategic sourcing management and procurement.
- Experience with supplier selection, risk and compliance, negotiations, roadmap alignment, financial analysis, and international sourcing.
- Strong relationship management, communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel, and Microsoft Project; Microsoft Dynamics experience is a plus.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally, approximately 20% or up to 25%.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field; ISM C.P.M., CPSM, APICS CSCP/CPIM, or equivalent certification is preferred.
