Software Engineer II

Location: Farmington Hills, Michigan, United States; hybrid schedule with 3 days onsite in the Farmington Hills office

What you will do

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain financial applications, sales platforms, integrations, and other business systems.
• Contribute to software architecture discussions and design scalable, maintainable solutions using diverse programming languages, frameworks, and cloud platforms.
• Support agile delivery through sprint planning, backlog grooming, process improvement, troubleshooting, debugging, and peer code reviews.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, support cloud migration, and apply cloud-native development and security practices.
• Build automated unit, regression, API, performance, and integration tests while improving test automation frameworks.
• Analyze system-generated data, application performance, data quality, system flows, and compliance with business and technical requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer information services, computer engineering, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with programming languages, frameworks, low-code solutions, and process automation technologies.
• Experience with scripting such as Python or Bash, configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet, and at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or GT-Framework, plus API and performance testing.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and application security standards including OWASP Top 10.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, senior engineers, and QA teams.
