Senior Market & Customers Manager - Malaysia

Location: Hybrid in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia

What you will do

• Lead market intelligence and customer ecosystem development across Peninsular Malaysia.
• Build relationships with customers, regulators, utilities, industry bodies, universities, and ecosystem partners.
• Translate market, policy, regulatory, and customer signals into country strategy, account priorities, and growth actions.
• Represent hirify.global in industry forums, trade associations, customer events, university partnerships, and energy-transition discussions.
• Identify underserved segments, policy-driven opportunities, and adjacent markets including grid modernization and energy-transition infrastructure.
• Support the Managing Director with government affairs, statutory governance, opportunity radar, and cross-business-area initiatives.

Requirements

• Strong experience in stakeholder and relationship management across executive, political, customer, regulatory, industry, and academic environments.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, public speaking, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to convert weak market signals into opportunity radar, country strategy inputs, account priorities, and action plans.
• Understanding of hirify.global solutions, regulatory frameworks, and customer environments.
• Experience with or strong understanding of Peninsular Malaysia’s power, grid, and energy-policy environment is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a relationship-driven, matrix organization with limited structure.
