UI-heavy, Product-focused Fullstack Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote in Argentina or Uruguay

Salary: $80,000–$110,000 per year, plus PTO and a learning budget

What you will do

• Design and build sophisticated, state-rich UI systems and rich editing experiences.
• Develop collaboration features using ProseMirror, Tiptap, and Yjs, emphasizing correctness, performance, and usability.
• Integrate AI and LLM-powered workflows into rich-text, data-dense, and collaborative interfaces.
• Work with Product, Design, Sales, and Client teams to translate customer workflows into durable product solutions.
• Shape UI architecture, improve existing patterns, set quality standards, and deliver mission-critical product experiences.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building complex web applications.
• Strong frontend and user-facing systems expertise, with the ability to work across the stack.
• Deep experience building rich UI editors with ProseMirror and Tiptap.
• Experience with real-time collaboration and local-first applications using Yjs.
• TypeScript, Node, and modern frameworks such as Next.js.
• Experience integrating AI or LLM-powered workflows into user-facing products and applying frontend testing best practices.
