Semi-Senior Software Engineer (AI/Fintech)

Location: Buenos Aires; candidates are asked whether they are based in Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, or Sao Paulo. The current work model is fully remote, with a future transition to hybrid.

hirify.global is a Series B fintech building an AI-powered WhatsApp chatbot and remittance ecosystem for Latin immigrants in the United States, using AI, blockchain, and stablecoins.

What you will do

• Architect and implement scalable backend microservices, including core components of the chat platform.
• Build, deploy, and iterate on chatbot services and conversational interfaces for remittance products.
• Design infrastructure for millions of daily requests and real-time messaging.
• Develop backend services using REST APIs and Google Cloud services.
• Collaborate with product, UX/UI, and business teams.
• Use customer feedback and analytics to improve conversational experiences.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and software delivery.
• Experience with web services, including SOAP and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with Hexagonal Architecture, Event-Driven Architecture, A/B testing, feature flags, and gradual rollouts.
• Experience or familiarity with AI tools such as Claude, Cursor, Codex, or similar technologies.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher required.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech.
• Experience building chatbots, conversational interfaces, or integrating NLP tools.
• Familiarity with Dialogflow, IBM Watson, Rasa, or similar chatbot frameworks.
