Infrastructure and Backend Engineers (GCP/Python)

Location: Remote — LATAM; applicants based in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Uruguay, or Peru. The role requires 6–8 hours of overlap with PST.

What you will do

• Manage and monitor production deployments on Google Cloud Platform.
• Maintain reliability, uptime, and performance across distributed services.
• Support and troubleshoot workloads running on Google Cloud Run.
• Maintain and debug Python-based production services and deployment issues.
• Operate Kubernetes and containerized environments across highly concurrent workloads and large container fleets.
• Respond to operational incidents, support technical requests, and document fixes, procedures, and runbooks.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering, backend engineering, or production systems.
• Strong production experience with Google Cloud Platform, particularly Cloud Run.
• Advanced Python backend development experience, including debugging and maintaining production services.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized workloads.
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases and distributed systems.
• Experience operating highly concurrent production workloads.
