Senior Software Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Buenos Aires; candidates are asked whether they are based in Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, or São Paulo. The role is currently fully remote, with a future transition to a hybrid setup.

hirify.global is a hyper-growth Series B fintech building an AI-powered WhatsApp remittance platform for Latin immigrants in the United States, using AI, blockchain, and stablecoins.

What you will do

• Architect and implement high-performance, scalable backend microservices for the chat platform.
• Build, deploy, and iterate on chatbot services and conversational interfaces for remittance interactions.
• Design and manage infrastructure supporting millions of daily requests and real-time messaging.
• Develop backend services using industry standards and Google Cloud services.
• Use customer feedback and analytics to improve chatbot effectiveness and conversational experiences.
• Mentor junior developers and collaborate with product, UX/UI, and business teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, web services, SOAP, and REST APIs.
• Experience building, shipping, and iterating on software applications with real-world impact.
• Knowledge of architectural patterns including Hexagonal Architecture, Event-Driven Architecture, A/B testing, feature flags, and gradual rollouts.
• Experience building chatbots, conversational interfaces, or integrating NLP tools; chatbot framework experience is a plus.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Dialogflow, IBM Watson, or Rasa.
• Fintech experience or strong interest in fintech.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and contribute innovative ideas.
