What you will do

• Formulate a mid- to long-term vision for AI-driven operational improvement across the FinTech Group.
• Analyze current and future challenges across banking, payments, cards, securities, and insurance services.
• Research global AI trends and design solutions tailored to the group’s operational needs.
• Develop AI utilization plans that maximize synergies across financial services.
• Coordinate executives and stakeholders, create actionable project plans, and support handover to operational teams.
• Monitor transformation initiatives, resolve cross-functional issues, and recommend adjustments.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience, including 3+ years in AI-related projects and 3+ years developing strategies based on a mid- to long-term vision.
• Experience leading business transformation or operational improvement projects using AI technologies.
• Proven experience managing projects involving multiple departments and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of machine learning, data analysis, and AI model design, development, and implementation.
• Background in the financial or IT industry, particularly AI or data analytics.
• Japanese fluency and English at TOEIC 800 or higher are required; English is used mainly for reading and writing.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, R, SQL, data engineering, or cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Knowledge of natural language processing or image recognition.
• Experience with financial-sector digital transformation, global projects, AI-enabled new businesses, consulting, or AI startups.
• AI, project management, or financial industry certifications.
