Program Manager - Autonomous Systems

Location: Tucson, Arizona, USA; onsite position

What you will do

• Lead complex product-development programs for the automation portfolio from concept and feasibility through launch and sustainment.
• Build and maintain integrated plans, milestones, critical paths, dependencies, resource requirements, and program KPIs.
• Establish program governance, decision-making processes, review cadences, and executive reporting.
• Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, purchasing, quality, product strategy, training, and product-support stakeholders.
• Manage risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and constraints while driving mitigation and escalation.
• Coordinate requirements, scope and engineering changes, readiness reviews, stage-gate approvals, and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, project or program management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 7+ years of project or program management experience involving complex product development.
• Experience leading products through development, validation, launch, and sustainment.
• Experience coordinating engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and business stakeholders.
• Experience managing integrated schedules, dependencies, program risks, and executive-level reporting.
• Strong program planning, risk management, stakeholder management, facilitation, and executive communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with automation, robotics, autonomous systems, industrial equipment, automotive, mining technology, or complex hardware/software products.
• Experience supporting hardware products through validation, manufacturing readiness, and industrialization.
• Experience in a global organization and with requirements or engineering change-management processes.
• PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or comparable certification.
• Master's degree in engineering, business, or a related discipline.
