Senior Consultant (Grid)

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia; Cremorne, Victoria, Australia. Remote/flexible work is available, with travel of up to 20% as needed.

What you will do

• Represent consulting capabilities to existing and prospective clients and support project acquisition in energy transformation.
• Coordinate business cases, technical and economic analyses, and proof-of-concept studies.
• Support electrification and decarbonization projects for high-emission industries, electrical power systems, and data centers.
• Build customer relationships and coordinate partners and sub-suppliers to deliver projects successfully.
• Represent hirify.global in grid standardization committees, working groups, workshops, and conferences.

Requirements

• More than 7 years of consulting experience in the energy sector, including work with electrical utilities, industrial organizations, and data centers.
• University degree in engineering; a Master’s or Ph.D. is preferred.
• Experience with grid digitalization, energy system and market modelling, power system simulation, data center RAMS, renewable energy, and storage.
• Proven knowledge of technology adoption roadmaps for electrical utilities and strong strategic problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, project management, and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Proficient English is required.
