Senior Demand-Side Management Practice Consultant (Energy)

Location: Remote, British Columbia, Canada

Compensation: CAD 50.70–97.95 per hour

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end solution design for complex utility and public-sector energy program pursuits, including strategies, structures, budgets, pricing, and specifications.
• Translate market, regulatory, and client requirements into executable, scalable program designs.
• Maintain solution accountability from design through implementation and provide strategic guidance after program awards.
• Coordinate business development, delivery, engineering, product, IT, marketing, and business intelligence stakeholders.
• Standardize solution design methodologies, improve program design quality, and mentor consultants and team members.
• Shape product and service offerings, roadmap priorities, pricing strategies, and growth opportunities.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in energy efficiency, demand-side management, electrification, or related fields.
• Experience designing and delivering complex energy programs or solutions.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and data interpretation skills, including Excel and Power BI or similar tools.
• Deep familiarity with regulated utility environments, filings, and evaluation frameworks.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver results under tight timelines.
• Must be authorized to work in Canada without employer sponsorship or immigration support.

• Experience scaling program offerings across multiple markets.
• Expertise in process design, workflow mapping, and operational optimization.
• Experience using advanced analytics or AI tools to improve efficiency and outcomes.
• Background in engineering, economics, environmental science, or demand-side management programming.
