IT Engineer (Japanese Speaker) - Senior Level

What you will do

• Operate and support IT infrastructure and application infrastructure, including servers, networks, SAP, and business continuity services.
• Resolve technical incidents, investigate escalations, and work with teams on complex cross-technology issues.
• Plan, implement, monitor, and troubleshoot infrastructure changes, including security patches and compliance activities.
• Maintain accurate Configuration Management Database records and contribute to solution design and continual improvement.
• Participate in transition, transformation, and customer projects, including leading projects within the assigned technical area.
• Manage technical and service relationships with Japanese customers, internal stakeholders, subcontractors, and vendors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field, or equivalent work experience; other backgrounds may be considered with training provided.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• General understanding of IT infrastructure technologies, project management, customer and vendor management, business analysis, and financial management.
• Japanese communication skills certified at JLPT N1, N2, or N3 level are required.
• Good English communication skills are required.
• Experience with Windows Server, Linux, Wintel, or programming languages is preferred.
