TL;DR

Technician 2, Information Technology (IT Hardware): Installing, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining computer infrastructure in a manufacturing environment with an accent on hardware, software, network, and peripheral support. Focus on resolving end-user issues through phone and on-site assistance, repairing or replacing hardware, and maintaining reliable IT operations across shift work.

Location: Bayan Lepas, Malaysia; onsite technical support with shift work required

What you will do

Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and peripherals.
Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
Respond promptly to technical service issues and support requests.
Provide end-user technical support by phone and through onsite troubleshooting.
Repair and replace computer hardware as required.

Requirements

Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Technology, Computer/Telecommunication Engineering, or an equivalent field.
Good knowledge of IT, computer hardware, and software troubleshooting.
Ability to work onsite in Bayan Lepas, Malaysia.
Availability for shift work.

Nice to have

1–2 years of experience in a related field.
Entry-level specialization in IT, computer hardware, or an equivalent area.
Experience in the manufacturing industry.
