Facilities Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Torrance, California; full-time onsite at the Los Angeles headquarters

Salary: $39–$42 per hour

What you will do

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on building and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot basic electrical and plumbing issues, including HVAC, doors, hardware, furniture, and fixtures.
• Refresh office workspaces and complete general handyman tasks such as drywall, painting, and furniture assembly.
• Manage facilities tickets using Asana or another ticketing system.
• Manage fleet vehicles and maintain facility safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• 3+ years of facilities, building maintenance, or related trade experience.
• Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and general building systems.
• Proficiency with mechanical and basic electrical hand tools.
• Ability to work independently, stand for 6–10 hours per day, lift up to 50 lb, climb ladders, and work in tight or elevated spaces.
• Strong communication skills and basic computer and email proficiency.
• Valid driver’s license for fleet management duties.

Nice to have

• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Experience operating fabrication equipment such as mills, lathes, routers, or CNC machines.
• Enthusiasm for boating and clean energy.
