Sr. Facilities Technician (Industrial Facilities)

Location: Callaway Operations, CGC HQ, Carlsbad, United States; onsite work across workshops, roofs, mechanical rooms, R&D labs, assembly areas, and warehouses

Salary: $25.29–$37.93 per hour

What you will do

• Maintain building systems including lighting, plumbing, HVAC-related equipment, doors, flooring, roofs, drywall, and general facility infrastructure.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, daily equipment rounds, BMS alarm monitoring, troubleshooting, emergency repairs, and work-order documentation in Maximo.
• Support facility improvements, equipment installations and removals, infrastructure connections, specialized equipment builds, and R&D or manufacturing projects.
• Coordinate with supervisors, technicians, contractors, EHS personnel, employees, janitorial staff, and event organizers.
• Support workspace moves, room configurations, inventory management, events, storage systems, signage, and other operational needs.
• Maintain as-built drawings and facility documentation while identifying unsafe or noncompliant conditions.

Requirements

• At least five years of combined experience and education in an industrial or R&D facilities department or related industrial contracting field.
• Hands-on experience with building and equipment maintenance, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, documentation, and CMMS software.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; related vocational training is preferred.
• Knowledge of building systems, mechanical/electrical/plumbing drawings, power tools, shop equipment, material handling equipment, and maintenance manuals.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain forklift and scissor-lift certifications.
• Ability to complete an OSHA 30-hour general industry safety class and work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varied environmental conditions.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of welding and machining practices.
• Existing forklift and scissor-lift certifications.
• Experience with specialized golf equipment, R&D, or manufacturing systems.
