Facilities Maintenance Tech (Manufacturing)

Location: Sterling, Virginia, United States; onsite, Monday–Friday, first shift from 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. or 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

Salary: $45,296–$71,596 per year. A 90-day evaluation may include a pay increase if key performance indicators are met; an annual or quarterly bonus and shift premium may apply depending on assignment.

What you will do

• Maintain and repair the interior and exterior of the facility, equipment, appliances, and light machinery.
• Clean facilities and perform routine landscaping and grounds maintenance.
• Complete painting, gap filling, installations, carpeting, and basic carpentry such as cabinet building.
• Assist tradespeople with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs.
• Handle assigned and emergency duties, identify major repair needs, and operate a company van for pickups and deliveries.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in general facilities maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or trade school degree is preferred.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams and use hand and power tools.
• Ability to climb ladders, regularly lift heavy materials, work independently, and troubleshoot basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical issues.
• Good driving record required.
• Must comply with U.S. export control, ITAR, EAR, and OFAC requirements; access to ITAR products and related technical data is restricted to U.S. citizens and U.S. permanent residents.
