Data Center Engineer (Trading)

Location: Hong Kong, Hong Kong; frequent travel across APAC, including weekends, is required.

What you will do

• Manage hirify.global’s data centres and provide racking, patching, administration, and on-site troubleshooting.
• Coordinate infrastructure projects with IT teams in Sydney.
• Coordinate vendors on deliveries, installations, and related data centre services.
• Coordinate remote work with brokers and exchanges.
• Procure equipment through standard suppliers and global vendors.
• Manage projects in a high-performance technical environment.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure roles.
• Experience managing data centres.
• Strong project management, organisational, investigative, and critical-thinking skills.
• Good verbal and written English communication is required.
• Good understanding of hardware and hardware trends.
• Flexibility to travel frequently across APAC, including weekends.

Nice to have

• Linux server experience and networking skills.
• Knowledge of Mandarin.
