Focus on analyzing MRP projections, preventing shortages and excess inventory, resolving supply issues, and improving planning processes in SAP.

What you will do
- Maintain inventory and execute supply plans to reduce stockouts, improve service levels, and control purchasing costs.
- Use MRP and related tools to review inventory projections and supply-demand summaries.
- Monitor inventory parameters, including safety stock and forecasts, and recommend adjustments.
- Assess purchasing options, optimize order loads, and coordinate supply direction with Product Marketing Management.
- Resolve shortages, manage potential inventory obsolescence, and provide mitigation options to Customer Service.
- Convert SAP-generated purchase requisitions into purchase orders, track performance metrics, conduct supplier reviews, and mentor less experienced planners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.
- Experience with SAP is preferred but not required.
- Ability to analyze inventory, supply, demand, purchasing, and service-level data.
- Ability to manage purchase orders, inventory parameters, supplier performance, and supply-chain metrics.
- Ability to work at the Calgary or Edmonton location.
