Sr Demand Planner, Supply Chain (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Execute material requirements planning and manage purchase and work orders.
• Monitor supplier performance, expedite materials, and resolve supply issues that could delay production.
• Maintain safety stock, minimum order quantities, lead times, and other planning parameters in ERP systems.
• Analyze demand forecasts, load accurate data into planning systems, and communicate production schedules and changes.
• Coordinate new product launches, phase-ins, phase-outs, and obsolescence planning with internal stakeholders.
• Generate shortage reports, supplier schedules, and KPIs, while supporting Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, ISO 9001, and procurement-policy compliance.

Requirements

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or a related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in planning, procurement, or supply chain roles in manufacturing or distribution.
• Strong knowledge of MRP and ERP systems; SAP experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and database programs.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, leadership, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently with little or no supervision.

Nice to have

• APICS certification or training.
