TL;DR
Buyer (Supply Chain/Procurement): Identifying suppliers, evaluating bids, negotiating purchase orders, and procuring materials and services for storage-solution projects with an accent on vendor qualification, cost control, and procurement lifecycle management. Focus on preparing contract documents, supporting project estimating, resolving vendor claims, and improving supply chain tools and processes.

What you will do
- Identify suppliers, qualify bidders, prepare bidder lists, and distribute requests for quotation.
- Evaluate bids and issue purchase orders for commodities, equipment, materials, services, and finished goods.
- Negotiate small to medium value regional and international purchase orders while maintaining cost and schedule targets.
- Prepare contract documents, support awards and conforming processes, and resolve simple vendor claims or disputes.
- Provide budgetary pricing for estimating and proposal activities and support project close-outs.
- Recommend and implement improvements to supply chain tools, systems, and software.
Requirements
- 1–5 years of relevant experience; recent college graduates with relevant internships may be considered.
- Degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Business, Technical or Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Understanding of the project and procurement lifecycle, including bidding, purchasing, expediting, logistics, invoice troubleshooting, forecasting, and close-outs.
- Negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Microsoft Excel and Access skills at beginner to intermediate level.
- Ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders, manage deadlines, and follow supplier onboarding and supply chain procedures.
Nice to have
- EPC industry experience.
- Familiarity with JDE-E1, including Process MRP Demands and Order Entry modules.
- Experience with Agile, TAP, and electronic documentation and signature software.
- Knowledge of products and markets.
