Team Manager Developmental (Retail)

Location: Onsite at Sam's Club, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, United States

Salary: $70,000–$95,000 per year, plus annual or quarterly performance bonuses and possible Regional Pay Zone compensation.

What you will do

• Supervise, hire, train, mentor, schedule, evaluate, and recognize hourly associates while developing a culture of belonging.
• Manage sales, expenses, wages, staffing levels, budgets, and profit performance for the assigned area.
• Drive member engagement, membership growth, service quality, merchandise presentation, pricing accuracy, inventory availability, and cleanliness.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures, operational reviews, asset protection, safety controls, quality assurance, and corrective action plans.
• Enforce food safety, cold-chain compliance, sanitation, temperature control, date coding, product rotation, and recall procedures.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and management to execute company programs, strategic initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of college; or 1 year of retail experience with 6 months of supervisory experience; or 2 years of general work experience with 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Alternatively, 1 year of Sam's Club experience or 3 years of military experience.
• Ability to manage associates, operational standards, financial performance, customer service, and compliance requirements.
• Work is performed onsite at the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina location.

Nice to have

• Environmental compliance or a related field.
• Retail profit and loss statement management experience.

• Warehouse experience with cold-chain compliance.
