Automotive Service Estimator / Dispatcher

Location: 5869 Derek Ave, Sarasota, Florida, United States. Onsite, Monday–Friday, 7am–6pm; weekends are closed.

Salary: Up to $75,000 annually, inclusive of bonus, for highly qualified candidates.

What you will do

• Review digital vehicle inspections and build accurate repair orders with parts and labor components.
• Coordinate with technicians to confirm labor times, parts, and repair procedures.
• Manage quick-service tickets, waiting customers, phone quotes, and customer inquiries.
• Present repair solutions clearly and ensure work meets specifications and promised timelines.
• Manage parts ordering, inventory, pricing, returns, reconciliations, and warranty claims.
• Coordinate with parts, tool, and external vendors and help prioritize technician workloads.

Requirements

• Strong automotive industry knowledge and experience building complex repair tickets.
• Experience estimating work involving third-party warranties and navigating the warranty process.
• Strong understanding of parts ordering, returns, inventory, and reconciliation.
• Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Windows-based software and automotive store applications.
• Dependability, ability to stand most of the workday, occasionally lift over 50 pounds, and maintain a brisk pace in a high-volume environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with TekMetric software.
• Previous experience as an automotive salesperson, service advisor/writer, estimator, or dispatcher.
