Financial Analyst II – FP&A

Location: Chicago, IL or Fredericksburg, VA, United States; hybrid with three days in the office per week

Annual salary: $77,900–$129,150

What you will do

• Prepare key financial reports, ad-hoc analyses, and moderately complex models.
• Compare financial results with plans and forecasts to identify variances, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare dashboards and report key performance indicators using accurate, high-quality data.
• Support monthly forecasting reviews and maintain standard reporting and analysis.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting, forecasting, and analysis.
• Collaborate with FP&A teams and business leaders on strategic growth and profitability opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in FP&A, Finance, Accounting, or a similar field.
• Moderate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to meet the minimum standards for grade 65 and work in the office three days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience in the insurance industry.
• Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, or Oracle EPM.
