Technician II, Fast Turn Pools (Weekday Overnight) (Life Sciences)

Location: On-site in Coralville, Iowa, United States. Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.; shift differential applies.

What you will do

• Perform synthesis and formulation of synthetic DNA according to customer orders.
• Complete cleavage, deprotection, formulation, and final packaging of products.
• Use work instructions and production aids to determine the correct production flow.
• Operate laboratory equipment and perform maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Complete laboratory cleaning and decontamination protocols using work instructions and Maintenance Connection.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Some laboratory experience.
• Proficiency with PC software and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to exert 20–50 lbs. of force occasionally and 10–15 lbs. frequently.

Nice to have

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• At least 12 months of laboratory experience or life science work experience.
• Advanced computer skills, including Internet and Microsoft Excel.
