Maintenance Technician II

What you will do

• Improve systems and equipment reliability for an assigned manufacturing process.
• Reduce system and equipment downtime.
• Support operation of the assigned process.
• Operate and inspect manufacturing equipment using hands-on procedures.
• Perform inspection, repair, and maintenance activities, including work in confined spaces and at elevated heights when required.
• Report to the Senior Project Manager – OFP.

Requirements

• Ability to move equipment and supplies weighing up to 33 pounds within the facility.
• Ability to remain on feet for up to a 12-hour shift and work in loud-noise environments with hearing protection.
• Ability to occasionally work around hazardous or odorous materials, in cold environments, outdoors, and in confined spaces.
• Ability to ascend and descend ladders and work at elevated heights when required.
• Ability to pass a driving exam for powered industrial trucks; a valid driver’s license is not required.
