Calibration Technician (Overnights)

Location: Onsite in East Greenbush, New York. Working shift is Monday–Friday, 10:00pm–6:30am. Training is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm for approximately six months.

Salary: $24.76–$52.88 per hour.

What you will do

• Calibrate temperature, pressure, level, flow, and analytical instrumentation.
• Perform loop checks, tuning, troubleshooting, and instrumentation start-up.
• Work with medium- and low-voltage systems and complete basic plumbing and tube-bending tasks.
• Support Facilities Management-Maintenance and Clean Utility technicians with facilities and process troubleshooting.
• Complete work orders and preventive maintenance while coordinating workflow and documentation.
• Coordinate with departments, contractors, and vendors and participate in compliance investigations when required.

Requirements

• AAS degree, preferably in engineering or construction technologies, with relevant experience; experience requirements vary by technician level from 2+ to 11+ years.
• Basic problem-solving skills and the ability to follow routine procedures independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds.
• Strong written and verbal communication and effective time management skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with computer systems.
• Ability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule and comply with full cleanroom attire requirements.
