Manager, Finance

Location: Sam's Home Office AR Bentonville Home Office, Bentonville, Arkansas, United States

Annual salary: $80,000–$155,000, plus annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

What you will do

• Prepare financial analyses and models for strategic planning and future expense targets.
• Analyze business performance, historical trends, expected events, and significant variances.
• Develop control structures to mitigate financial risks and improve reporting transparency.
• Build forecasts and financial models for senior management presentations.
• Support annual operating plans, budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans for a $1.1 billion transportation P&L.
• Lead, mentor, train, and develop associates while promoting continuous improvement and compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field and 2 years of relevant experience, or 4 years of relevant experience without the degree.
• Expertise in financial analysis, planning, and forecasting.
• Experience with variance analysis and communicating financial results to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong management, mentoring, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
• Commitment to integrity, ethical standards, company policies, and compliance.

• Experience analyzing data and interpreting results.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
