Workflow & IT Solutions Specialist Hardware Automation

Location: Remote from the UK, covering Europe; requires travel to customer sites and company locations, including up to 80% overnight travel across Europe.

What you will do

• Plan and install complex automation systems across Europe.
• Provide technical support for complex electro-mechanical equipment, computer systems, software, and networked or wireless systems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and debug hardware and software issues.
• Report design, reliability, maintenance, and software problems to engineering teams.
• Handle the highest level of technical escalation and develop or deliver technical training for product lines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronic, or mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in hardware engineering focused on automation systems.
• Proficiency in hardware design and CAD software.
• Experience in the diagnostics industry or a related field.
• Strong hardware design, development, integration, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record, ability to travel up to 80%, and ability to lift, move, or carry equipment.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in engineering or a related field.
