Tire and Battery Service Advisor (Automotive)

Location: Onsite at 8621 Ohio Dr, Plano, Texas 75024, United States

Hourly wage: $19.00–$27.00 per hour. Additional premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour may apply in specific circumstances.

What you will do

• Maintain safety, organization, stocking, zoning, and merchandising standards across the Tire and Battery Center.
• Monitor tire and battery orders, assist with installation appointments, communicate lead-time changes and cancellations, and suggest alternatives.
• Recommend tire and battery products, explain warranties, assist with purchasing and service decisions, and resolve member concerns.
• Triage and prioritize service-bay workflows, coordinate with TBC Team Leads and Technicians, and support efficient appointment handling.
• Operate TBC equipment, complete vehicle service requests and tests, process sales, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges, and maintain required documentation.
• Support training and development of team members while promoting high-quality service, safety, compliance, and technology adoption.

Requirements

• Valid state-issued driver’s license.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Knowledge of tire and battery products, TPMS, service standards, equipment operations, and applicable safety and compliance procedures.
• Ability to engage professionally and empathetically with members, including in challenging situations.
• Ability to operate point-of-sale hardware and digital handheld tools.
