APTD_SWA S5 Manufacturing Technician (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Phoenix, Arizona, United States. Shift 5 runs from 6:00 AM to 6:18 PM on alternating three-day and four-day work weeks: Sunday–Tuesday and Sunday–Wednesday.

Annual salary range: $60,450–$85,340 USD for this hourly role.

What you will do

• Run substrate production lots and evaluate operating data to adjust equipment for efficiency and quality.
• Perform equipment setup, calibration, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and spare-parts management.
• Monitor equipment health and reliability while resolving nonstandard production-line events.
• Collaborate with Module Engineering on experiments, equipment configuration changes, and data collection.
• Maintain buddy, trainer, and certifier programs and update training manuals.
• Participate in safety forums and Emergency Response Team activities.

Requirements

• STEM certification; or an associate degree in a STEM field with at least one year of experience; or a bachelor's degree in STEM; or at least three years of related manufacturing or military experience in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to lift 25-pound parts one to two times per shift.
• Ability to climb ladders and perform ladder work one to three times per shift.
• Ability to wear an air respirator when required by safety procedures.

Nice to have

• At least six months of experience troubleshooting, installing, repairing, or operating electronics equipment.
• Experience with semiconductor manufacturing technology.
• Emergency Response Team training and certification.
