Technician I - Process (Implant/Diffusion)

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States; onsite, first shift

What you will do

• Operate production equipment and support production operator certification and training.
• Improve manufacturing process efficiency and resolve process, equipment, tool, and product issues.
• Perform equipment checks, qualifications, calibrations, first-line troubleshooting, and recipe updates.
• Make production-hold decisions and disposition lots in a timely manner.
• Collect, analyze, interpret, and summarize manufacturing data and experiment results.
• Write operating specifications, progress reports, equipment procedures, OCAP documents, and shift passdowns in collaboration with engineers and Document Control.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing practices, process flows, and SPC fundamentals.
• Ability to create and edit recipes, calibrate machines, troubleshoot equipment failures, and distinguish process, product, and tool problems.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced production environment and complete projects with minimal supervision.
• Strong computer, spreadsheet, technical writing, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Colorado Springs and lift, push, or pull approximately 25 pounds.

Nice to have

• Associate of Science degree or higher.
• More than two years of semiconductor manufacturing experience.
• Experience with Design of Experiments, automated manufacturing equipment, and machinery programming or maintenance.
• Knowledge of diffusion and ion implantation processes.
• Experience with statistical analysis, technical presentations, and technical procedures.
