Finance Manager, Data Centers

Location: New York, NY, United States. The role requires access to export-controlled information; candidates must be eligible under applicable U.S. Government export regulations.

Base salary: $127,000–$168,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus, equity awards, and benefits based on eligibility.

What you will do

• Execute planning, forecasting, and performance analysis for data center OpEx, including leases, power, equipment financing, and site operating costs.
• Build and maintain financial models covering the global power footprint, site operating costs, and deployment timing.
• Run monthly, quarterly, annual, and long-range planning cycles, including variance analysis and scenario modeling.
• Prepare accurate financial reports, executive presentations, and actionable recommendations.
• Partner with Data Center Operations, Capacity Planning, Power & Sustainability, Real Estate, Sales, and Senior Financial Analysts.
• Lead cost-optimization initiatives, automation, and process improvements across planning, forecasting, reporting, and data workflows.

Requirements

• 6+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, asset management, or a similar field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining complex financial and operational models, with advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Experience influencing cross-functional and executive stakeholders through clear written and verbal communication.
• Ability to lead multiple concurrent workstreams in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
• Must be eligible to access export-controlled information under applicable U.S. Government regulations.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of data center finance, energy market dynamics, leasing structures, and cost-optimization strategies.
• Familiarity with facilities engineering or critical-facility operations, including MEP infrastructure cost drivers.
• Experience with NetSuite.
