What you will do

• Source and evaluate private biotechnology companies, healthcare technology companies, and venture capital funds aligned with hirify.global's strategic and scientific priorities.
• Maintain relationships with entrepreneurs, investors, academic institutions, incubators, and innovation ecosystems.
• Monitor scientific, clinical, competitive, and investment trends across biotechnology, life sciences, AI-enabled drug discovery, and healthcare technology.
• Conduct scientific, strategic, commercial, competitive, and financial due diligence on prospective investments.
• Support transaction structuring, valuation analysis, term sheet review, investment documentation, and governance presentations.
• Manage portfolio relationships, support board observer responsibilities, and identify collaboration and business development opportunities.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree and 4 years of scientific experience plus relevant investment, business development, or transaction experience; or a master's degree and 7 years; or a bachelor's degree and 9 years.
• Experience in venture capital, corporate venture capital, biotech investing, private equity, investment banking, business development, or transactions.
• Advanced scientific expertise in biotechnology, therapeutics, drug discovery, platform technologies, AI-enabled drug development, or healthcare innovation.
• Ability to evaluate biotechnology companies, venture funds, and emerging technologies, including financing structures, cap tables, valuations, and investment terms.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills for working with entrepreneurs, investors, academic founders, and senior industry leaders.
