Seasonal Extraction Lead (Food Manufacturing)

Location: Del Rey, California, USA; onsite second-shift role with mandatory weekends and overtime as needed

Base compensation: $25.00–$28.00 per hour

What you will do

• Lead daily beverage extraction operations and direct the work of hourly employees.
• Assign workstations, communicate schedules, monitor breaks and lunches, and coordinate shift handoffs.
• Implement safety, GMP, food safety, and quality standards while maintaining product specifications.
• Monitor operational goals, OEE reporting, production paperwork, materials, and quality issues.
• Support equipment maintenance and ensure machines and the work area remain clean and organized.
• Train, coach, develop, and correct employee performance while leading meetings and presentations as required.

Requirements

• Persuasive, productive communication skills and the ability to work effectively with employees, coworkers, management, and external partners.
• Strong teamwork, organizational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work in an unstructured environment.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic involving weight, volume, and distance measurements.
• Ability to follow detailed written and oral instructions and use Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Aerial lift certification and chemical-handling training are required for applicable duties.
• Must be able to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds; and work in outside weather and extreme cold.
