Processing Lab Technician - Night Shift (Cannabis)

Location: Mt. Dora, Florida, United States. Onsite night shift, Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM; approximately 5% travel required.

Salary: $16–$16.50 per hour.

What you will do

• Prepare materials and chemicals for daily laboratory processing tasks.
• Package and label products in accordance with state regulations and internal standards.
• Perform in-process and post-process quality assurance testing, visual inspections, and quality control checks.
• Track batches, weights, product data, and security information using paperwork, an iPad-based electronic batch record system, BioTrack, and METRC.
• Calibrate equipment, complete preventative maintenance, and sanitize glassware, tools, equipment, containers, and workspaces.
• Improve operational efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain a clean and safe production facility.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic math skills and understanding of weights and measurements.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, adaptability, and verbal interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience with safe handling and disposal of harmful chemicals and hazardous waste.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, changing environment and follow laboratory management instructions.
• Compliance with GMP, OSHA regulations, state procedures, and hirify.global standard operating procedures.

• Previous agriculture or manufacturing experience.
