Quality Control Analyst (Hemp)

Location: Onsite at the Louisville, Kentucky facility. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Compensation: $25–28 per hour

What you will do

• Perform routine quality checks throughout the production process, including taste, texture, color, and analytical evaluations.
• Maintain quality control practices aligned with organic certification, GMP, and applicable federal and state standards.
• Review product labels and packaging iterations for product specifications and compliance requirements.
• Support new product development through bench-top applications, specification development, and compliance documentation from concept through launch.
• Collect and analyze production and customer experience data to inform process and product improvements.
• Manage retain samples, analytical equipment, calibration, lab organization, records, and audit readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or an equivalent field.
• 5+ years of experience in a quality assurance laboratory or similar program.
• Ability to learn and operate analytical instrumentation, including GC and HPLC.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, record-keeping, verbal communication, and written communication.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, growing environment.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States and willingness to consume hemp products.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Chemistry, Food Science, or a related field.
• Experience in a food, supplement, or confectionery laboratory.
• Background in sensory evaluation or product development support.
• Familiarity with hemp and CBD regulations, GMP, and certified organic production environments.
