Plant QA Technician Lead (Food Manufacturing)

Location: Temple, Texas, United States; onsite role with rotating 12-hour day or night shifts

What you will do

• Execute plant-specific and corporate food safety, quality, and laboratory requirements.
• Monitor food safety and quality parameters throughout the facility.
• Batch chemicals and ingredients, calibrate laboratory and line equipment, and collect product samples.
• Perform qualitative, quantitative, and aseptic microbial testing against specifications.
• Document test results, review quality records, and identify and isolate non-conforming products.
• Troubleshoot deficiencies and non-conformances while participating in HACCP and safety teams.

Requirements

• At least four years of experience in the field or a similar manufacturing environment, in the position, and managing people or projects.
• High school diploma required; an associate's degree is preferred.
• HACCP and PCQI certifications required; Better Process Control certification preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to work onsite in Temple, Texas, on rotating 12-hour day or night shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Six years of relevant field, position, and people or project management experience.
• Associate's degree and Better Process Control certification.
