Manager, DRAM Customer Quality (Semiconductor)

Location: Daily onsite presence at the San Jose Headquarters, United States; 20–30% travel required.

Salary: $163,000–$253,000 USD per year, plus incentive opportunities.

What you will do

• Support Tier 1 customers with DRAM product quality issues across LPDDR, DDR components and DIMMs, HBM, and GDDR.
• Coordinate failure analysis and facilitate communication on product specifications, applications, platform debugging, quality, compliance, and ad hoc inquiries.
• Identify, document, track, escalate, and report technical issues while managing customer response expectations.
• Lead communication between customers and engineering teams to align quality requirements and resolution goals.
• Manage customer deliverables including Failure Analysis/8D reports, change notifications, and monthly or quarterly performance reports.
• Create systems for tracking customer quality requirements across global teams and drive sustainable solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline with 10+ years of experience; alternatively, a master’s degree with 8+ years or a PhD with 5+ years.
• Experience in semiconductor memory or a closely related semiconductor industry.
• Experience in a B2B, customer-facing role involving highly technical content.
• Experience with DRAM or high-performance memory IC design, application, testing, or product engineering.
• Knowledge of memory controllers or memory channels and interfaces, advanced component packaging for high-speed interfaces, and semiconductor component quality and reliability.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, writing, editing, and technical reporting skills.
