What you will do

• Support actuarial analysis and reporting in areas such as experience analysis, EBS reporting, cash flow testing, and hedging.
• Gather, validate, and analyze data; update Excel models and analytical inputs; and present results for business leaders.
• Assist with recurring financial processes, including derivative collateral monitoring and monthly collateral calculations.
• Improve documentation, controls, and processes to support accurate and risk-aware operations.
• Apply critical thinking, AI, and automation tools to improve analytical efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with actuarial teams and cross-functional partners on business priorities and ad hoc projects.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a four-year degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Commitment to actuarial exam progress and interest in applying AI and emerging technologies to actuarial work.
• Available for a minimum of four consecutive months during summer 2027; start and end dates are flexible.

Nice to have

• Experience manipulating and analyzing large datasets.
• Exposure to Python, SQL, SAS, or Power Query.
