2027 Early Careers: Summer Intern, Claims – Canada – Toronto, Ontario

Location: Toronto, Canada; in-person work in the office at least four days per week

What you will do

• Support the investigation, evaluation, and resolution of insurance claims.
• Analyze claims and operational data to identify trends, improve processes, and enhance customer experience.
• Collaborate with underwriters, actuaries, legal, HR, and operations teams.
• Build relationships with clients and business stakeholders to support projects and business objectives.
• Monitor claims activity, respond to customer inquiries, and support accurate payments, reserving, and cost management.
• Gain exposure to claims adjusting and examining, administration and analytics, fraud and recovery, account relationship management, and claims operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree expected no later than June 2028.
• Availability for the complete 9-week program from June 7 through August 6, 2027.
• Ability to work in the Toronto office at least four days per week.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical, problem-solving, organizational, collaboration, prioritization, adaptability, and attention-to-detail skills.
