Composite Technician I (Aerospace)

hirify.global Commercial Aircraft manufactures A220 and A320 Family aircraft at its U.S. manufacturing facilities.

What you will do

• Perform composite repairs involving molds, wet layup, prepreg layup, and rework of existing aircraft structures.
• Read and interpret blueprints and other accepted drawing types.
• Self-inspect parts and components and use measuring tools to verify compliance with documentation.
• Maintain accurate records and work-in-progress logs in accordance with FAA, EASA, and Transport Canada requirements.
• Maintain stock levels and support housekeeping, lifting, pushing, and pulling activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical, professional, or vocational training in composites, including apprenticeship or institutional training.
• At least three years of hands-on aerospace or equivalent composites experience, such as shipyard or supplier work.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Current authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available for this U.S. position.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb occasionally, climb stairs or ladders, work in confined spaces, and stand, sit, walk, or work from boom/scissor lifts for extended periods.

Nice to have

• At least one year of aerospace experience.
• French, Spanish, or German language skills.
